Dear Students,

Our College is recognized as a state leader in teaching and learning, student relationships and wellbeing. We create a safe social and physical environment that helps all our students learn and succeed.
The College emphasis on developing and maintaining positive relationships, that we know each student as an individual. We provide more personal support and greater access to opportunities in each student’s chosen Pharmacy fields.
Parents and visitors compliment us on the warm and orderly school atmosphere and our strong sense of community. We encourage all our students to develop high expectations about themselves, their work and their behavior, which is an expression of our values of Personal Best, Integrity, Respect and Responsibility.
Our approach involves working with parents to meet the individual needs of every student, and supporting them to fulfill their academic and co-curricular goals and dreams. The broad range of opportunities and pathways offered in the college include Planned Teaching learning environment, students organized college events, social and community based activities, academic as well as personality groomed co curricular and extracurricular activities which cater for the diverse interests, needs and abilities of our students. Over the past years, we have had consistent success, with all students who applied for a placement being successful.
As one of a few colleges in country to provide ICT based Learning and outcome based teaching, that College offers and support for advanced learners.
Our students are engaged and enjoy coming to college, as reflected by the Student Attitudes to results where we continue to score well above the state average, in fact in the top 10 – 20% of the state on variables such as effective teaching and stimulated learning, teacher – student relationship and parent interaction to name a few. There is a genuine sense of community amongst teachers, students and parents, which we are all very proud of. In a world that rewards perseverance, resilience, initiative, problem-solving and cooperation, our students leave well prepared for, higher studies training or employment. I am proud of the significant accomplishments of our students and the results our College has achieved in being a better choice in education.  

With experienced and dedicated teachers and excellent infrastructure, our college helps students to realize their goals in life. I encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and involve themselves in all the extracurricular activities that are offered. The overall development of the mind and body is a sign of a healthy and complete development. Hard work, dedication and perseverance are the most important traits in a person that lead to success. The future belongs to you; your need, therefore, is to prepare yourself for an active participation in the world. This participation demands that you become well informed and hence develop yourself like a pioneer and ultimately grow as responsible men and women.

The curriculum emphasizes the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities for all students attending our college. We believe that every learner is unique and special and that they all have the ability to learn. We believe it is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop every learner to prepare them for life.  Learners are continually encouraged to appreciate our diverse community and to care for others by becoming global citizens, and develop a concern and active respect for the environment.
At JIP, the educational community strives for excellence by preparing students for learning beyond their school years and assisting them to become lifelong learners, as well as helping them to be self-directed, realistic, and responsible decision makers when solving problems, that they will encounter in our multicultural, ever-changing world. Ultimately, each learner will gain from their life at college according to the effort they apply.
We strongly believe in the importance of teachers, parents, and students collaborating and communicating openly and frequently. We continually improve the quality of tools of communication, including giving our parents access to an interactive website where they can retrieve pertinent information about their ward's academic achievement.
